Remove 'details' In Tile View

Does anyone know how I can remove the 'System Folder' and 'JPEG Image' texts from beside the icon? (check image).

In cmove's screenshot in the desktops thread, its not there.

first of all, how do you tile your desktop icons ? are you using winFX ? coz i used it a while back and im pretty sure there was an option to remove some text, cant exactly remember, ill re-install and have a look.......

I'm using D-Color XP.

And if you check cmove's or FatCat's (from Neowin or HG), you'll se they have tiled icons but they don't have the extra text..

you could use deskopX you know :order:

The reason I'm using D-Color XP is because it takes only 600K of memory, as opposed to WFX or DX, which are memory hogs.

..so, nobody knows how to remove the text? :(

did you try pm'ing them first since youve seen it on thier desktops only so far.

How did you manage to have Tiled and so small icons?

Is it possible that they set D-color to small icons (List view)?

the icons are small because I have set the system-wide icon default to 16 pixels.

And the icon arrangement I chose was 'Tiled', from a choice of Large, Small and Tiled icons.

Taha,

I noticed in cmove's screenshot that the icon labels are in white with black outline/shadow, not the case d-color handles Tiled view.

Is it possible to set List view (Small icons) and set their size to something bigger?

Just a thought
