How can I change the screen resolution from 1024x768 to something higher, the display option in system prefs wont let me go any higher...
Change Resulution In Os X
Its whatever your monitor can do, if you can't get it any higher, there's not much you can do.
Try getting CodeTek Virtual Desktops though, very neat OSX virtual Desktop program.
if the screen is an LCD (Apple Studio monitor/notebook monitor/other LCD monitor), then stick with the default.
If you have a CRT, then by all means switch to the max resolution the monitor allows.
PS: If you have an LCD and ALSO an extra CRT monitor lying around, why not hook it up to the mac? Then you can have dual screens and higher resolutions.

Unless you got some good to go graphics card, what taha said would be meaningless. I hooked up my 19" to the mac but i didnt have the ability to either span it or receive more options for the rez.

Those can't go any higher due to video card AND monitor limitations.
Yeah, dual monitors is awesome, i'm never going back. 
And on LCDs, always do the max resolution, any other will look super crappy (its interpreted resolution as opposed to native).
Yeah I gots a pimped out Macintosh Classic w/ 4 count em 4 MB RAM... And OS 1.1!

I just took a look at my iMac, it has no extra VGA port for an extra monitor.
One more question: I have a USB Cable Modem, how can I get it to work in Os X?
What happened? You told me it had Jaguar.
Jaguar is much better than 10.1.5.
You shoudl get Panther when it comes out, AND MORE RAM!!
Out of respect for privacy of the mans documents or anything he didnt get rid of, I got my Os X install CD and re-formatted and installed.
Can anyone tell me how to install a Toshiba PCX1100U Cable Modem on the forementioned iMac.
Foresure I will get more RAM and Panther when it comes out...
Oh, so you ignored my advice and still bought the mac even though he didn't give you the Jaguar CD. 
That's illegal and you were screwed, Jaguar is much better.
You should still email him asking for the Jaguar CD, otherwise you better report it to eBay.
For your Cable Modem, just get a router and plug your cable modem into that, then hook the router to your MAC, and have it connect using DHCP.
ZeroConf/SAMBA wasnt included in 10.1, right? Only Jaguar+.

Interesting, I excluded everything but two key facts in your mac that had all the answers to your mysterious quest.
My card is 6 times faster not to mention its AGP (i wont show off, after all people here got G7s already) and i do have an extra output for an external video..
