I've been using ACDSee since v.2, got so accustomed to the damn thing that it's difficult to make a switch, i found MS's app OK, but just not ACDSee-ish enough to be easy to use 
Hehehhe, its all about preferences lecter...
I must agree that ACDsee is pretty good tough...

InfranView is a very nice light-weighted picture viewer. Much smaller and faster than Acdsee. :woot:

Hmm i always a little reluctant of installing new software... it messes up the registry...
What are its main functions that make it stand out?
Is it better than Picture Library from MS?

seph - I haven't tried picture library, but I've been really pleased with picasa so far. It automatically organizes your photos by date (via metadata), creates albums, has slideshow, timeline and photo editing features, exports your albums to HTML, has SMOOOTH transition graphics and has an interface *strangely* similar to iphoto (that one is a little odd, I wonder if apple has seen this yet).
I'm really happy I downloaded this, I have a s***load of photographs on my machine and I keep wondering to myself what I did without it beforehand.
There's a flash demo on the picasa website, you might want to take a look at it since it explains the progrgam features pretty well.
