i second this request! i really need good Mac-like skin for Bs
BSplayer skinning is kind of limited. I think it's possible to do it though. It would be nice to see it done

BSPlayer is IMO the most popular DivX player (It's included in every release of the K-Lite Codec Pack) and the only thing it lacks is good skins (especially Mac skins!).
Hi fellow BSPlayer fans,
Well first of all BSPlayer is one of the most capable, powerful and easy to use video/movie players that is available to windows from a short list of other capable applications.
And sure it's a shame that there is no array of Apple Mac styled skins for it.
However i only found three Mac styled skins for it, the standard Mac OS X Aqua and a couple of not so good Sosumi skins comes in a Apple/XP logos.
As for the featured topic snapshot, me and other member from AquaXP were looking for that particular one to be as a default skin.
There is however a brushed Mac DVD styled skin that had been made for PowerDVD XP that i saw once on AquaXP's front news page and you can find it here http://expweb.no-ip.com/, I was thinking maybe if we asked the author if he had the time to convert/make his already made skin for BSPlayer, I don't know do you guys think it's a good idea.
Although as mentioned before BSPlayer is kind of limited as for instance there will never be expandable pans nor video window styled frame.
Also i thought and will contact BSPlayer's team of devs/support to suggest if they can make in the future versions an option to disable skins/no skin mode so it can be skined by StyleXP/WindowBlinds if it had windows standard controls and of course if they can add window frame for the video area, other from that there application is working great so far.
Maybe if others thinks that they also want these features they can e-mail the developers about as who knows maybe the do listen for us.

I have some ideas for this skin:

Need choose:
- An Pause button.
- An close and minimize place;
- An seeking bar place;
- The others buttons remains.
More ideas?!?
Can any Mac user provide us with the resources (bitmaps) needed?
great idea DM (Y) i wouldn`t mind having the drawer opened the whole time (no need for fidning the way to slide it in and out)(which i think Bs can`t do by the way)

I´m still on it!
The first thing i saw on that was the chance to keep open all the time the drawer , and when is Full screen mode, the drawer seems to be hidden.
Thanks Darth Maul for the ideas about the buttons ... some could work right! ( full screen button ... great idea! )

few constructive remarks if u please
1. how about making all the buttons (f,p,pause,s,
the same size? or making the pause button the same size as the play and stop buttons?
2. instead of eject (in the open file DM proposal) maybe you could put open?
3.add open subtitle button (if u allready added, sorry)

Fantastic work... really aqualicious... and something everybody will use and like (since BSPlayer is one of the best divx player). Keep the good work, take your time to make the best.

k, here´s the explanation screen.
1) I dind´t change the name of the buttons to keep the skin most original as possible, but i guess i´ll change´em anyway
2) There´s a subs button (the title one)
3) The size of Pause button is still a problem. There´s no space to make it bigger than that, and if i make all buttons same size, it will loose some Apple look alike. Probably i´ll make the skin bigger and that´s it, but i still trying to keep it most original as possible.
i`ve sent the requests for the resource files, now we`ll just hv to wait.

liquidbrain, to simply put it... amazing job and you did pretty fast too.
As for your buttons maping and functions it's pretty good.
Comments:
- I hope if it doesn't get bigger in size as the control buttons sizes looks just fine.
- Is it possible to assign any useful functions for the up and down buttons instead of just being there for emulation purpose?
- About the missing button from the drawer, it's just for the time being right?

No JUST TO EMULATE! All the things that appear on the skin will work.
About the missing button on drawer .... still working on that. I put the screenie in the middle of work, so i put that after the screenshoot.
I think the same of you about keeping the size of the original skin. For now i´ll keep it like the original, and maybe later i´ll make another version with the BIG PAUSE
