How Do I Edit Icons With Iconpackager

Hello everyone!

First of all im new to this forum and my english isnt the best but ill try my best :)

Ok, so far i have collected a large archive of PNG Files.

After i installed IconPackager from Stardock i was trying to change those boring winxp icons to those lovely OS X ones :)

But when i try to change them IconPackager tells me, that this isnt a valid Icon or something like that.

Can someone tell me what i have to do to change my original WinXP Icons to the PNG ones?

Any help is really appreciate

Thanks in advance

P.S.: Sorry for my bad english again. I hope everyone's understanding me :)

you need to convert them to .ico format first. i recommend axalias iconworkshop since itll save you alot of time and do it in a breeze, after that your set.

Yess..agree with Sone..

Window didn't use a png format icon only mac use that, and window use .ico format.

So u need to convert them first by using any icon converter program...I'm using any2icon. Axialis iconworkshop also a good program to convert the icon

After u convert u can change your icon using icon packager.

BTW u have to convert them by this format 16x16, 32x32, 48x48,64x64,80x80 and so on to whatever size u like
