Remove Icon Labels

Does anyone know how to remove icon labels in XP? is there any program that can do that? I'v tried to google it but haven't found anything?

Can anyone help me out? >.<

desktop icons? you can use alt + 0160 or alt + 255.

if you're talking about normal icons, i'm not sure.

well, you can rename the desktop icon to a blank space by holding alt and typing in 255 (or 0160).

but you'll need to add another 255 for each additional icon.

e.g.

1. alt + 255

2. alt + 255 + 255

3. alt + 255 + 255 + 255

and so on.

this should probably have [help] in front and be in the customizing section.

anyway, that should work for you. if you can't rename the recycle bin, let me know. there's a reghack you need for that.

alt+255 leaves a space which shows up when highlighted...

if you have winfx, there is an option where you can remove your labels.
