Request For News Posters

Title sais it all.

Badges are going to be applied to news posters.

This is final and not going to be changed cause the site needs loyal aqua-softians to help continue the tradition regulary. Its very welcomed in many other sites and i find it weird that a lot of reponsibilities fall on busy people while so many potential aqua junkies roam around a/s yet they never get the ability to aid the community. Its time for a permanent change. We are a huge community now and we will always face changes, to the good or to the bad. Right now we're on a slope of inactivity you may say, and this will change soon - you can count on that.

This request isnt temporary and isnt going to change as i already made it very clear (Mainly aimmed to the staff). Its not done in order to fill out this void a/s has lately, but since we have tons of new faces here and many more fresh contributors that needs news to constantly get updated.

News need to contain any RELATED releases from our own site or from a sister community (aquaxp, dt2, neowin, etc), such as themes, skins, icons, walls, apps, cursors and more. Also, it would be great to read news about new versions of music players off the net, new articles regarding our site and interests, and of course new things from apple (hardware and software).

Please post why you think you could be a news poster, and not just for the badge. Thanks.

Is there someone from my region be a newsposter or a staff here???

If not I would be the perfect person because as a global community I believe aquasoft need a representative from each region in the world.

Furthermore I visit aquasoft regularly since I became a member and I contribute quite a lot to this forum

Anyhow it's up to you to make a decision, whatever decision u make I still be loyal to aquasoft

lol, Aqua-Soft is an equal opportunity employer I would like to apply for the newsposter position as well. I am here every day (often several times a day) as well as at AquaXP. I check news everywhere often and am up to date with the latest news from Apple as well. I post often and am very active and would love to give back to the community that has given me so very much. i would love to be a aqua poster

the reasons are,

i absolutely love the look of aqua, i have been in the community for awhile now and would love to give something back.

i type quite well and spend about 5-6 hours a day on the net.

i agree with what alang said, it would be good to have a few different people from different reigons, because things are diifferent in other countries

anyway im sure everyone will be happy for who ever goku and the team chooses.

well, I'm on the forum frequently and usually spot a lot of great prospects our fellow members are creating, from programs to skins, wallpapers to icons. I'm interested in the position, but am questionable to the required skills needed to maintain a thorough news report.

If I meet the minimum requirements, I'd be happy to be a newsposter, if not, then I'll be participating as frequently as I normally am.

*oh yea, how was that statement? was it good english? because I'm trying to boost up my normal typing structure because of my english class.

Aqua-Soft brings that speacial edge, and so do I. I really think I would be able to contribute to Aqua-Soft on various levels, Skins, MS Styles, Wallpapers, latest breaking news, and various news in the graphics world. I am not sure if this is a driect decision from Admin, or votes from the community, but I promise you this everyone, that I am here to play the game, and bring this site right to the top...

I would like to be a News Poster because I am not as creative as alot of the people in this forum and I think this would be a great opportunity for me to contribute something back to the members of this forum. Also I am usually logged in on the forum at least 3 - 4 hours a day and I try to keep up on all the new programs and hardware that is coming out on the Windows and Mac platform.

Well we can obviously have way more than just 3 or 4 news posters due to the insane amount of releases; icon/walls, msstyles (lately mostly the "non-aqua") themes, and of course the external news. Regardless the 10.3 will come out fully featured soon, so things will get more hectic.

So far im satisfied with the memebers posting here and many of them might get to be the news posters, but I wanna see more people who might have 'better' fluency in english (look whos talking :harp: ), and the skills and diligence to post.

Again, this means providing the service needed for the site as much as you can (of course if you love aqua-soft, its fun, a hobby).

well if fluency is required i`d be glad to lend mine i`ve been learining english since i was 5 so i think i can do a good job. i also follow most of the Apple rumor sites (when Apple news are concerned) and i`m spending fortune on my phone bill for hanging on the forums day & night

only joking,i consider myself quite fluent in english, after all i have been speaking and writing english for almost 16 years. (thats an educated guess), im seventeen, (almost eighteen, two months and counting ), im quite good with computers, i cant program but i dont think posting news requires me to code php .

in conclusion , im young, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humor.

Hmm....Goku: I don't think there should be THAT many news posters. There really isnt that much news.

I'd say 3-5. But the thing is make sure they're active. If someone doesnt post any news, kick them out of the group.

Remember, mods/admins will still post news. With that and 5 news posters, thats over 10 people.

C'mon now Sone, everyone is now gonna stay up until 3AM just to "be active" all the time. We are gonna have a lot of sleep deprived news posters.

As i said, the time in which the 'news posters' were posting news showed whos serious and who is not.

Sorry Jace but better luck next time. I'll choose a NEW news poster later on this week instead.
