A Friendly Request

As you know, Cerebral, TheRaginAsian, and myself re-opened ThemeDock earlier this month. Thus far, reaction to the site has been lukewarm. We have had people openly blast us for the content we host. Our forums are dead. In short, it is hard to tell if anyone cares or not.

I like creating themes, and Cerebral and I worked for months on creating the site, creating new themes, etc. I'm sure we have visitors to the site, but we have no hit counter, and we have no way to track download stats.

What I am asking of you guys is to help get us on our feet, to help get us going. We have awesome content in the pipes that, unfortunately, has been delayed for schoolwork and the like. We don't want to ask much- if you could visit and post in our forums, that'd be great; if you can submit icons/themes/docklets, that'd be even better. We'd just like to hear from ya.

Sorry if I sound whiny or *****y, but I really don't want to have to take the site down a second time. Thanks for all your support, you guys are a great community.

Why not start a ThemeDock subsection in these forums? I bet you'd get more attention.

I visit lots of forums, and its hard to keep track of them all.

timan is an expert in low-level maintainence of sites, and I bet he is the right man for you gp. He is also world champion in being bored (or borg). Unlike him, I know how to revive and lift boards' activities so ..next time.

i think the forum is am allright idea but because ur site is restricted to docks and icons it might be tuff to get people, but I visit ur site at least twice a week just to check out the themes. oh by the way i like the theming starter packs.

*remember no matter how hard u try ur not going to please anyone so don't listen to the "haters" there are lots of people that appreciate themedock but sometimes we're not as vocal about it.
