I Want To Port Metal Panther Pro. Can I?

Since it seems impossible to see realized this theme for the

well known reasons, I have decided to port it as Windowblinds theme

for my personal use only.

I have few questions before starting this project:

1) Am I allowed to start it, considering it is only for me? I think yes but I

wanna be sure.

2) If I decide to mod some resource I find in other skins to suit my theme,

must I before ask permission?

If someone wonders why I ask and not start directly, I reply that I'll post

some screenshot here so probably someone could flame me.

Last but not least, this is the first skin I decide to realize (Metal Panther Pro

has stolen my heart ) so it will take a lot of time...and I'll appreciate any suggestions and tips.

You do not require any permission from anyone UNLESS, note unless, you are planning on releasing it to the public to use it.

Under such circumstances, you are required to seek permissions from the original authors involved on the particular 'vs' or visual styles.

If its for personal use, don't worry. You can port it.

However, I'm surprised you feel the need to do so. I think the ones already available are already very nice.

Yes, I agree, the existing ones are really very nice.

But each time I see the only partial screenshot of

Metal Panther Pro available, I remain impressed.

Simply I like it and I find it different by the other

themes, even if I like them all.

And this is a way to test my skill in theming

Panther Pro Metal is not to Exist for Mac. He have never finished this Theme.

Yes I do agree it is a beautiful theme....slick, clean and very professional. Love the metallic look to it..gives it a much needed flavour. Would be great to see it released since I have been looking for it for a couple weeks. StefanKa, I saw ur screenshot of urs...and might i say its is amazing...would love to see it released to the public or sent to my email LOL one or the other...who ever has it, or makes it..
