Well i was in a comp usa store and i spotted a G5, i couldn't take my eyes off of it, it was so beutiful, anyway i went right up to the computer and scrolled the mouse down to the dock and clicked the text edit icon. Text edit poped up but i was suprised that it didn't appear to the right of the seperator when i figured it out.
On the windows dock when you click an icon and have the taskbar enabled the program opens and appears on the dock tasks side (right or left depending where you have it).
Back to the story, i opened another window and couldn't minimize it. I didn't know how to get back to the text edit since it wasn't on the other side of the seperator. I went to the finder bar at the top but i couldn't access it from there either. Then i relized it. I clicked the dock icon i clicked at first and that brought the program up.
Later i came back home to my crappy windows and when i clicked the same icon after clicking it some time ago, instead of bringing the program up, it opened a new instance.
Heres my suggestion, instead of a dock taskbar make it so that the icon itself is sort of a dock taskbar, when you double click on it it brings the prog back up. Cuz i don't want to use the dock taskbar, since every time i open a new prog the dock majorly slows down with each new icon placed on the dock. Yet i would rather use it then the windows startbar. I want more a more osx dock then windows dock if it is possible.
