Please Help, Adding Internet Shortcut To Dock

I am not even sure if this is possible... I am new to XWD and have looked for this answer for hours now but to no avail. I want to be able to just click on an Icon in the doc and have it open to what ever webpage i have it set for... Is this possible... I know its prolly a stupid question, bc i am sure it is but can someone please explain this to me... I undestand all the widget stuff but for some reason cannot get this......

Copy the desired webpage address from the address bar, create a new shortcut from the right-click menu, paste the address and drag this new shortcut to your dock.
