Q:
Have you actually used MD-DX for extended periods? I didnt like the blur when it first came out, but after using it for a while, I began to appreciate and love it.
It takes a little getting used to, but it helps your eyes after a while.
Now, if your icons are REALLY blurry, there is some problem with your settings, try changing your vid card settings back to default.

hmm, i tried a powerbook yesterday and it haven't blur when i put the icons more smaller
Why?
thx.
Actually, the OSX dock works like MD-DX where the icons get less blurry as they're enlarged.
Im a dork.
yes it is true the real dock "does" infact have a little bit of blurring when the icons are just sitting there.. you really need to have a good eye for that. If you make the dock on mac os X really small they are alot more blurry.. depends on the default size of the icons... but it is a little feature

Ok, thanks for the info guys. ![]()
and im looking for a closer osx real dock and it isn't blurryOn that note (and NOT to start a Dock vs Dock war - they're all brilliant anyway), I'd like to say (again) that IMHO the Mag effect of Moby is BY FAR the most accurate (yes, and the Blur). In fact the only Major thing it doesn't do (visual wise) is the Genie minimise effect).
Looking forward to 0.85 (and 1.0)!

I used a mac for a time
and i prefer yzdock magnification effect over moby dock for most accurate osx emulation
And the icons in moby dock are too much into the background (too much space of it)
