Maybe it's just my system, but when I use Y'z toolbar to create shadow under windows, it makes my system very slow and sluggish.

Anyone else has experienced this?????? :(

are u talking about Yz Shadow?

yes, shadow takes system resources. How slow is it depend on how fast your system/VGA are.

Yz shadow doesnt make my system actually "slow". yes its slow, but hard to see

my system is P4 2.0, VGA is Gforce 3 Ti500

Yes, you can edit the shell32.dll and iexplore.exe to get the effects of Y'z Toolbar, though its not as easy to switch themes.

Icemans site has modded files:

jonmega.com/~iceman

As for Y'z Shadow being slow: its slowness is due to the fact that shadows are drawn in Software, not hardware.

I have Yz Shadow, Yz Toolbar and Yz Dock and my system is not slow

@ keir: www.designtechnika.com but the site is down now :(

i like shell32 because it changes all the icons in the system, not just the toolbar.

here's the link: http://www.designtechnika.com/main/modules...ction=show&id=3

and it works. :)

edit: apparently the link doesn't work, but if you navigate to the download page, you can download it. just go to www.designtechnika.com and get it under "files." it works too. i just checked. :D
