Aqua-Soft ForumsI went to customize my explorer tool bar and i switch the bitmaps however the ones that i used are longer than what was in there, so now for example my back button goes a little way into the forward button. So is there some dll i can edit so i choose the width of the toolbar buttons? thanks for you help.

in the dlls u can't modd the size of the toolbaricons, there must always have 16 and 24 pixels.
For the yztoolbar u can create all size u want up to 48 pixels (larger sizes looks bad). the size destination is in the inifile in the theme folder.
Which dll file do you even hack to change the images to start with? :joystick:
for toolbar icons, hack shell32.dll.
yup, that's the main one people hack. msgina.dll is for the shutdown window, browselc.dll is related to ie, and there are others. there should be a list of mods and hacks somewhere that outlines all of this.
yup, so now you can hack shell32.dll and change the icons and bitmaps or use one that's already been modded. 
Just a little hint:
bmp for toolbar in shell32.dll
must be 24 x 24 pixel and 16m colors?

i don't remember the pixel size exactly, but if you edit pre-modded shell32 files, it's not a big deal.
