How To Print A String In The Avescripter Error Log ?

as topic, is there any method to print/write to the AveScripter Error Log ?

I need to print same stuff in order to debug my desklet.

anyway, where I can found a develop. tutorial for AveScripter? Any docs with all the objects and methods I can use under AveScripter?
