I thought about purchasing iPad for the sake of reading ebooks on large crystal screen. but on the last minute before order I decided that it is too much expensive thing. I probbably will go after Kindle from Amazon. What da ya think, am I wrong or right with my decision?

Depends really, we just sold our kindle not 10min ago.
If you do alot of reading outside, get the kindle hands down. If you read inside (low light even), I would get the iPad. You can just do so much more with it. It also supports epub books, so you can download other (non-drm) books from other sources etc.
I was until I seen the price, whilst picking myself up off the floor after fainting. Whilst passing out I do recall shouting out, "f*** ** for an oversized iPod Touch £899.00." Then I thought I'd be better of upgrading my rig... Sorry Apple no offense but, I like my iPod Touch 2Gen.
