Aqua-Soft ForumsSo I decided that I wanted a different theme on my computer (windows 7) so I replaced the original with one that I downloaded online. Of course, it didn't work so I'm stuck with a computer that doesn't work. When it boots up and I try to log on it shows up as a black screen and a cursor. I've tried system restore but Norton Internet Security 2009 blocks it. I've used task manager to try a variety of things. I put in the windows disc but it has no option to refresh the system. I don't know what to do and I'm afraid my $800 computer is going to be an $800 paperweight. Please Help!
Phew! I figured it out. If anyone else is having this problem shut your computer off by holding down the power button. When it starts pick star in safe mode with networking download a new uxtheme.dll and put it in its place. When this is done restart your computer and AHHHH it works again!
