Ram Memory Working As Dual Channel?

hello guys, recently i upgraded my mobo from the intel d845pesv to the intel d865perl, i find out tha its support the dual channel memory configuration,and the regular single channel as well.

can sombady tell me the differences, i mean how the double channel works?

i havent notice any big differences in performance.

Its got two busses for transfering data to/from RAM. its basically more bandwidth, and its pretty useless in almost all cases.

RAM is not the bottleneck anymore, its harddrive and Video card usually.
