i have been trying to add item to the dock and i click add item and nothing pops up... what to do what to do???????
Would you like to give us a clue as to which dock your talking about, there are several mentioned within the whole forum, we're good here but our mind reading skill sometimes fails us. 
Have you even tried reading thro' the threads to help you too.
it is RK launcher 4.1 and yes i have looked na dcould not find anything on it.

Does this happen with all items or just specific ones?
If you also right click the item and select Dock Item Properties, does the link point to the correct place?
if i right click on the docket i can choose add item and then nothing pop's up to add a short cut to the docket.

to add items, you just drag the item and place it on the dock, you dont have to press add item, just grab and drag it to the dock, then let it go
