[Fixed] Portal Support / Default App

Hi,

I'm planning to use a portal, standard one or unreal one, and set it as default module = landing page editing initdata.php :

   define( 'IPS_DEFAULT_PUBLIC_APP', 'forums' );
edited to
   define( 'IPS_DEFAULT_PUBLIC_APP', 'portal' );

The problem is that change is also logically applied to mobile version, and that portal isnt supported by skin and is a bit ugly :)

My questions :

  • Quick fix : Is it possible to define a different default app depending on skin, how?
  • Better fix : Any clue on what i have to edit to improve portal rendering on mobile skin?
  • Best Fix : Do you plan to support portal, or even better, unreal portal soon?

And a more general question, what is the good way to edit tabs on mobile skin?

I would love a Home tab (portal with latest news) and and a Forums tab

I'll try to get the portal bit fixed (its usually simple templates).

I'll be posting the updated version tonight, to get the portal to work correctly not all of the little sidebar items will be there. Mainly the focus is the portal news/forum posts.

Also if you have both a portal and a home page link set in the ipb settings, only the portal link will show up. They'll have to click the logo.

I'm sure some might not like the portal. I will prob tweak how the news items display after I finish the blog addon.
