Oh but Shoutbox, although works, it's extended beyond the page when viewing as normal (vertical).

Turning iPhone 90° (horizontal) makes the screen wide enough to cover shoutbox width.

A complete noob to forums here so please forgive my naive questions

I really like the look of this skin and love how it looks different on an iphone

1. If I wanted to apply this skin to my forum would I have to purchase all the skins?

2. If I just used the mobile skin would my forum look as it does now on a normal computer - but different from an iphone?

3. how easy is to customize - such as a logo at the top and maybe different colours?

You can purchase just the iPhone skin, http://www.aqua-soft.org/forum/index.php?app=subscriptions (see the first package)

It is only for mobile devices. So once installed and setup correctly, when you sit down at your pc you will get whatever forum skin you have setup now. But when you browse the site on a mobile device, you will get the aqua-soft mobile one (like in the screen shots).

Its really easy to modify, I have all the colors at the top for you to change. To change the logo just replace the image

Please see the folder for hooks, I have templates you can change with the html in those files to get it to look/work right.

I'm new to forum admin. Our forum is on IP.Board version 2.3.6. Are skins backwards compatible? Or do we have to upgrade to version 3 before we can use this mobile skin?

Sorry, the mobile skin only works with IPB3 due to the user agent stuff. It should work from 3.0 and onward (till ipb decides to redo their skins again).

You must first disable the iphone/ipod user agents for the lo-fi skin. (next time please post in the support forum )
