Which Is More Popular; Cds Or Mp3 Downloads?
Can't remember the last time I bought a pre-recorded music CD, it's all downloaded mp3 these days.
I think DVD's and Bluray are going to go the same way given time.

I don't think it's funny.Do you know how expensive is to make music?Someone spend whole year to make album that thousands of euros to pay for studio to make sound worth of listening than to pay for commercials whole pr and at the end someone rip his cd compress his songs from 50 mb to 5 mb (90 % of audio quality is lost in mp3)and post it for free download?

Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, 65, Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien, 41, and other experienced artists who have opposed government proposals to crack down on music piracy and have publicly backed the online swapping of songs – which, when done for free away from registered vendors, means the artists receive no cut.
a newspaper article the older musicians had contributed to as members of the Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) in which they demanded the government allow illicit file-sharing to continue.
O'Brien had argued that file-sharing was the contemporary equivalent of his generation's practice as teenagers of "taping your mate's music" and that by sampling tracks like that they were encouraged to go out and buy much more of what they liked.
Part of the FAC's support for file-sharing is based on research which suggests the that people who do it will actually spend more on music than those who don't.
"There is evidence that repeat file-sharers of music are also repeat purchasers of music, movies, documentaries
etc," they said.

Ok guys get back on topic, we all know the pro & cons to downloading stuff. That wasn't the question.
Well its obvious that mp3 files are the most popular mainly because they are cheapest and we are a price incentive society the distribution of mp3's is incredibly easy vs cd's and you don't need a brick and mortor storefront. With the dawn of ipods and mp3 players that obviously have replaced cd players, mp3's are and will continue to be the most popular mode of audio sales.
And seriously do we really need AquaSoft to have every topic moderated like facist regime? I mean seriously if you wonder why discussion never happens on this site look no further.

Mp3s and future low weight audio formats are here to stay,cds are past no doubt about that.Last cd i bought was "The grand depression" from DMX that was long,long time ago,since that only mp3s...
