Itunes 9

Is it me or did iTunes 9 just come out?

I didn't know a new version was even on the way. And I just used so much of my bandwidth to update the last iTunes 8 a week ago

So before I get it can someone please share how its working on a PC? Some screenshots too

I don't like the white background on grid view. But otherwise it's purdy! When you installed the new version over the old one did you have to backup your music files, playlists etc first or does it just get transferred to the new version?

Well, I didn't have any playlists in iTunes 8 , when I installed the new version, all my music & videos where transferred automatically.

Well... it looks like a native windows app now if you ask me... Apple are taking a massive huge step backwards in their gui department.

I will not upgrade to 9 thank you. :angry:

Mind you... I never have the controller on the desktop anyways :lol:

I'll no doubt upgrade for the sake of the iPod but I don't think I'll be moving away from Foobar anytime soon.

I've been trying to access the iTunes store for a couple of months now but it just doesnt open for me. Ive updated it to vr.9 still its not opening! what should i do?

I guess there is no way to change iTunes 9 in windows in order to make it look like iTunes 8 ?

Guys at macthemes managed to bring back iTunes 8 look but its for mac version only.

I can't understand what you're saying beneath all the 'dat', 'cz, 'dnt'. Learn to write proper English, it really isn't that hard to write simple words like 'from' and 'don't'.

Besides the ugly buttons for Previous, Play, Next, I really like the new look of iTunes 9. And finally, the Windows version got some nice shadows .

I'm kind of dissapointed about the new iTunes.

All my Video-Podcasts are lagging and if I minimize the programme it keeps on changing its size and position.

I know that the 2nd argument might be due to something else, but the 1st is definitely a problem of iTunes.

I sure hope that they will release an update very soon.

I'm on a playlist here, and when I click Grid View I only see the Genre page. How do I see the Artists, Composers and Albums as in the previous version?
