Os X Default Internet Browser???

What is the os x default internet browser? I know windows is internet explorer, obviously. I think the mac os x default browser would have to also be internet explorer. Am I right? My only question, though, would be that when I see screenshots of the new mac internet explorer, it looks nothing like the aquabrowser jef has created. Now, I am not saying jef created aquabrowser to look like internet explorer, but the buttons are completely different looking. The buttons in internet explorer all have a greenish tone to them. The button style is not like the finder at all. Yet jef shows finder style toolbar buttons in his aquabrowser, so I was wondering if this was just something jef made, or if an aquabrowser the way jef made really exists for a mac. Because if it does, than which it the true default browser?

One other side question. How skinnable is mozilla? I know it is skinnable, but is it skinnable right down to the toolbar buttons and scrollbars or what? If it is, I would like to consider making it look like the mac iExplorer. That would be superb.

I just found out after doing a little research that os x's default and prefered browser was internet explorer, which by the way is shipped with all macs. Now the only question is how to get a browser to look like that. Now, I have some ideas, but first I need some quality screenshots of the new internet explorer for mac. I have found some, but their not great. I will keep looking. If anyone else finds anything that would be great.

It is different from the one made by Jef, the buttons are different, the ones on the aqua browser and other skins, are the controls for browing windows I think, but the MAC IE have different buttons that can change accoding to the color.

the very first few releases of aquabrowser looked exactly like ie's osx version, have to prob ask duckie if he still has those.

#4867

Really Timan?? Wow! Why did jef change the buttons then?? Why make them different than the real thing? Oh well. Does anyone have the earlier releases? Thanks.

I've been looking for the IE Mac buttons for awhile...that would be very helpful if someone had them :)

#4880

Why, yes, I do have them

HERE you go!

Hey, thats not bad! The buttons could look a little cleaner, but overall a decent looking port! Like Bill said, maybe it will be possible to make the new aquabrowser look like the old one again. Of course, with all new buttons and everything revamped. But, that would be superb if it could look like the screenshot below. That is what the true, real thing looks like. Take it from first hand experience. No, I am sure all of you have used the mac internet explorer at one time or another! :D;)
