My system ( CPU 2.40 GHz & 512 MB of RAM ) hangs as I open more than 50 tabs in Mozilla Firefox. I want to open approx 500 tabs at a time in Firefox browser, should, I increase its memory or CPU or both or any other idea to improve the PC performance?
My System Hangs On Multiple Tabs In Firefox
She can't take no more Captain!!
Hanging at 50 opens tabs with only 512, and your asking if you need to increase the memory....I would seriously say yeah, a bucket full of memory me thinks too.
I've got to ask why in heavens name would you open 500 tabs at a time, I'm not sure what will give up first, memory, processor or Firefox.
Is this a trick question? 50 tabs? Firefox likes to eat RAM, regardless of version. I had 256MB in my laptop then I pushed it to 2GB. More tabs, and it makes up for the 1.3GHz single core processor.
LMFAO, 500 tabs? Why would you need to open 500 tabs?
Heavy flash and javascript pages can kill Firefox, too. I just had 3.5 die yesterday because it had too much going on in three tabs. Fast as heck till it crashed.
500 Tabs
, Firefox uses single process to run all the tabs. Where as Chrome and IE uses different-single processes. For 500 tabs ur System must me a 3.6 Core 2, with 4 GB RAM. I suggest you to use Chrome.
I've selected some good sites for Daily visit ................ and want to open one time for multiple interaction ....... so easily go for my SEO work on the already opened tabs in Firefox.
i have one problem on firefox.when i open more than one tab,a crash report occured.
