Can somebody please create icon for google reader that wood on click open google reader and in tooltip show the number of unread feeds, something alike GMail.

That would really be a docklet, because a shortcut would not be able to retrieve the unread feeds.

I have been thinking on creating such a docklet... but I'll wait until Google Reader gets closer to release, and more people asks for it.

There are severeal firefox extensions and greasemonkey scripts for that, so it would be nice to see it on a desktop also....

For now I'm using "google reader" yahoo widget, but it's big and ugly like a elephant's poo!

And it would be lovely to have that as a docklet next to my gmail docklet!
