How Do I Save?

hey guys, just downloaded RK Launcher and its great, i spent quite a while putting all my icons into it and changing the settings about to make it transparent ETC, however, when i restarted my pc later that day the RK laucher wasnt there on start help (help plz) so i loaded it up again and to my horror, i was presented with the default RK Dock!!?? what have i done wrong?

how do i make my RK DOCK load on windows start up (i went into setting and the check box to 'Start on windows startup' was faded out and i couldnt click on it

how do i save or recover my dock so that i wont get the default one?

Firstly most of these things you're experiencing have been discussed before, searching is great way of finding out how to fix problems.

I suggest you get the latest version of RK in the nightly build, a few threads above this one, this will solve the start up problem, but there are other ways of fixing the start up situation.

Also make sure you have full admin rights to the PC, especially if your using Vista.

I searched still can't find the answer , i look in several thread , found no fix .. Can you provide the link to said thread ? I have old build of this but friend downloaded the latest build and he having the exact same problem . Rebooting put it in default mode and doesn't save are position or settings . We both are using vista .

Note: found this thread http://www.aqua-soft.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=48576 but link in it doesn't link to the thread for the fix. vrw this is on page 5 . Just need link to the fix .

Make your changes, make a backup copy of the revised .ini file, then restart your computer. Now move the revised .ini file back as the actual one in use (close the dock before you do this). Subsequent restarts should keep your changes preserved.
