Well , last week i`ve bought a new gygabite m/b and a new agp card

All seems to be good but after what i`ve finished the instalation of my OS and drivers i`ve wanted to play GTA3 VC my fav game btw

Wel on my old nVidia mx card this game was running smoothly so i never thought that on my ati 9200 will not work

Well it did not work at all ,well i can enter in the game play a lil bit but after 4 sec my sistem freeze.

Thinking that maybe i`m a jackass , i`ve reinstaled the drivers. Hell i`ve even installed the sistem again with all the drivers updated

My m/b is gygabite , my agp card is gygabite so whats the problem ??

And why good lord mobydock does not work properly with an ati card??

Hell i get some colors that icons does not have them on my dock

PC specif : M/b gygabite 7vaxp ; agp card ati gygabite 9200 R9264dh cpu amd 2200+....

ATI has crappy drivers. Thats the truth.

Gigabyte is a good manufacturor though.

My opinion is that don`t buy an ati card except if it is an 9700 or 9800 one ...

Problem is not ATI. Its the card you got 9200

Should only go with 9500,9700,9800

Try the Omega drivers.

Sometimes they help.

get radeon9700 pro all in wonder (if you have the cash) and then you'll beat yourself for saying sh##ty ATI.

But yeah, I was pleased with nVidia in the past.
