You run Anti-Virus (not Fisher-Price brand like Norton), you can connect to http://microsoft.com/, congratulations, you're not infected. If you are infected, apparently you took a wrong turn at 5th Avenue. Reinstall your Operating System (read: GTFO Vista), and be happy.

And to be honest, probably nothing will happen. Just a April 1st prank. And they've already got us, because they got what they wanted when they were featured on the news, and where forums like this cause havok over it... and come 53 minutes from now nothing will happen and the joke will be on us. harhar.

It's a prank... like Y2K. Computer viruses are like STDs: you won't get them if you ware a condom. Well, uhm, on the computer it's not a condom... No but seriously, if you're careful, you won't get any viruses it's that simple.
