i tried clicking extract all. but it did the same thing as if you just click on it

try to move the files to a folder in programs files, and then try clicking the file, or there should be some file to add it to the registry
Nothing is written to the registry.
If your running this on Vista, make sure you have full admin rights.
Few other things to check, open your task manager to see if it's running, mine throws this wobbler now and again. If it's showing in TM end the task and restart using the exe file.
The dock maybe in Auto hide mode, hoover your mouse at the bottom center of the screen, if hide mode is activated the dock should appear.
