Aqua-Soft ForumsOk here is the situation: I have an iMac G3 with Mac OS X 10.2.8 on it, and I have a dmg of the Mac OS X Install Disc (10.4) that my friend made from his install DVD (because my iMac can't read DVDs).
My plan was to "Restore" the DMG onto a sperate partition (named Mac OS X Install Disc 1), but I realized Disk Utility didn't have that feature yet. So I downloaded Carbon Copy Cloner, and Cloned the mounted dmg on to the second partition. All seemed well but when I booted from it, it got stuck at the gray Apple.
Will someone PLEASE help me!?!? It's realy frustrating when you think (or think you know) that something is going to work and then you find out you wasted the past 3 hours.
