Finderbar Woes

Okay, so i'm looking to get a mac within the next 237 days (Hopefully Apple will give us some Nehalem Macbook Pros on October 20th, the third Tuesday of the month (Around the same time as last year) though I could be full of hot air) and who can blame me for wanting a nice, elegant Menubar so I don't have to look at XP's stupid Fisher Price "TaskBar" nonsense?

My point is, when I launch Finderbar, I run into a problem. A big one.

Essentially, All I get for a "Finderbar" is the text, and that text it simply laid on top of that stupid task bar.

Right click on the finderbar and select Skin It.

That should solve your problem.

LOL the fisher price comment made me chuckle, but it's true. Windows really didn't give a hoot how their things looked when they made xp. Which is where the helpful 3rd party themes from deviant come in.

I installed FinderBar today and I was not happy with how the FinderBar turned out...

1. The fonts are funny

2. And the mac symbols in the menu are not right.

I followed the instructions and I have done this step:

" To correct show special Mac symbols in menus, you must install the modded font "Finderbar" aka "Lucida Grande mod" (Finderbar.ttf) and use it as menu/toolbars font. You can find this font in the subfolder "Fonts" of the main Finderbars folder. To set this font as menu font, call "Screen properties" dialog box (right click onto desktop) and on the tab "Appearance" click "Advanced" button. Select in the new window the item "Menu" and set the font "Finderbar". "

Anyone knows what is wrong with my FinderBar?
