Microsoft Office Splash Screens

Is there any way of replacing the standard splash screens for the apps in Microsoft Office XP with the ones that Office v.X uses?

i don't think i have ever heard of anyone being able to modify the splash screen for office xp but a good place to go and check would be http://www.virtualplastic.org, happy hunting
