Aqua-Soft ForumsI wonder if there is a way to make all the menus of windows, (not only the start menu ), equal to the menus of macs ( "stripes" alternating white and gray) ... the only program that I saw doing this is windowblinds ... I do not like to use it, is there any other way?

I'm sitting at a Mac here at work right now (Leopard 10.5.4), and menus don't have such stripes (though they look quite different from Windows ones of course).

Before anything, congratulations by applications you develop ... you are a man of great talent ... I was pleased to have you answered me.
I am attaching 2 images that show what I was trying to say ...
The menus in windows are of a single color ... white in this case... Mac has in the background of menu something alternating between a light gray and white, instead of a single color ...
Also, menus in windows have these horrible separators and borders... I think now you can understand ... What do you think?

New Leopard style has no stripes on it.
This is one of the projects I had in mind but I haven't go any further with it because of lack of time.
But having skinnable for Windows menus (TrackPopupMenu( ) and similar) is something I can't write just now. 
Maybe when I finish having classes at university (due end of this year, with probably some classes next year, then I'll have more free time to work 8 hours a day and write freebies from time to time).
Yes, it's Tiger ... in my opinion much more beautiful than Leopard ... I don't like the "almost" dark gray from Leopard ...
Well, if one day you decide to do something like this, I'll be one of the first to test ... windows menus are
horrible!!!
Meanwhile, I'll continue my search for something like this... which has been a long search...

Windows right click menu's need to be redone, they are so so so so so terrible, I hope cairo developers realize that, I am on a Mac and Windows will be hard to go back to.
yeah they are really ugly. and i'm so looking foward to when cairo is released! i have vista, so i won't need to wait until the xp version is out 
I have a mac and wish vista didnt cost 300 dollars a copy. that way I could mess with it.
Vista costs €100 which is not $300...
Vista Home Basic costs $200 not including shipping. But I want a better version and the next version up from that is $3OO
