how do i make my icons reflective

how do i make my icons reflective on rocketdock?? is there a plugin or something, or do i need to have special icons?

there is a dock that makes your icons reflective for you, its a a reflective dock calles Windows X Dock, its here in the forum, or you can download iReflector, from sir smiley, it makes ur png icons reflective, there is also a plugin that makes ur icons reflective, but u have to disable zooming in the dock. choose the one u like

hehe i wanted reflective icons too and i have rocketdock but i tried the ireflective thing and i can't get it to work i drag an image onto section 1, but when i drag that image onto section 2, nothing happens! so on section three it shows the icon with a question mark as the reflection. it says i need another icon for section 2, but when i drag it on there, nothing happens. is it cuz i'm not an administrator??? that's the only thing i would think that would make that happen.

that happened to me, just try to change the skins, and toggle a bit with the options, i think in the forums someone had this problem and sir smiley told him he had to delete some file, try searching around

AFAIK you don't drag anything into second image. This is what I do:

I drag an image into first slot.

Then I just click the second slot (no drag and drop at all) and the reflected image appears magically there.

Then I drag the slider at third slot until I have the reflection just where I want it, and I click the third slot, and some ..._mirror.png appears in same dir than original file (with same filename with _mirror.png appended).

iReflector fails to:

- Reflect non-square images.

- Sometimes fails with non-power-of-two size images.

Indeed it has some strange behaviors, I dunno if there is a newer version with those bugs fixed.
