Is there a way to make icons on the desktop just like OSX?
i'm not talking about the really big ones... but the ones that make the desktop a list. the icon gets small, and it's corresponding text is "BISIDE" it.
I'd love this feature, it will allow me to keep my desktop clean, yet i can put more icons than normal and keep it look good

I'm pretty sure WindowFX 2.0 will do what you ask, also there is a freeware/shareware program that does the same thing, but I don't recall it's name.

i just tried out winfx 2 enhanced... they have that option but the menu can only be on the riht side and it cant have a shadow on it, if u want shadow on it, thne it wont be centered vertically.
but other then that, im using winfx for menu animations =]

You do realize when you sign up to places like that you don't have to give them your real information. I just enter None for my name and none@none.com for my e-mail address, then they will take you to the page with the actual download link. That's how a lot of sites work, unless they explicitly say they'll send you the link in your e-mail.

Anything that requires you to click or look info that has been written your typical answer is " I'm too lazy " . That is getting already too long on the tooth, so please don't bother people if everything is too much of a bother for you. If you are too lazy for something it means it is not important for you and therefore it is not important for anybody else and you should not ask. People are nice enough to give you clues on getting proggies or modify but nobody here is a wet nurse to do stuff for you. Get on with the program or change the tune.

In the time it takes people to write "I'm too lazy" they often could have done something themselves. Math: Your time doing something: 5minutes. versus Your time asking a stupid question: 5 minutes + other people helpign you = 5 x 5 minutes + all the people reading the stupid question, writing silly responses like this, and/or having to scroll through all this crap while they're looking for something worthwhile = 1000 x 5.
Therefore, you just cost humanity an average of 5025 extra minutes, or 209 days, almost one full business year.
And of course, I just proliferated it. but it was an investment in prevention... right? right?

As for that website... i did not know that i can just put anything in for it since it has a login box, and i didnt know that it doesnt have a verification for email, which is why i did not sign up. But now, 2 minutes ago i did and i found that it doesnt require anything, so i put down bs for everything and it worked.
btw.. this program does not make the font smoother =/ and if it does, the text is on the upper part rather then the middle. i'll soon get a picture.
Yes, StarDock's DesktopX does exactly what you are asking. You can use Drive icons as objects to access your drives, and other various objects to replace icons. Also, Stardock's IconFX is in alpha-testing right now. It has some awesome potential. You can make every icon on your desktop act as a "zoomer" and adjust the size as well. It's exactly like the zoomer effect on the Docks, but applied to your desktop icons. You can download it if you are a Stardock subscriber. I do not know when it will be released to the public. Like I said, it's still an alpha with many bugs at the present time.
i tried it out, it was allrite but i didnt like it much tho, after a few minutes of use, i turned it off.
