Hi folks! 
With both the release of XWD v5.4 and also the new sub-forum, I'd like to hear from you which form do you think is better for publishing skins:
a. Only one, centralized, sticky, release-only thread where you can find all published skins for a given release of XWD; or
b. Many scattered, non-sticky, open for commenting threads where the skin publisher decides how many skins will be published.
I wanna hear your thoughts... 
I would love just one , because when I'm looking for something it's way to much of a challenge to search through all those threads.

I would also love one topic where they'll all be posted, but I do think that skins such as Leopard7 and original Leopard by Dennis should have their own thread.. If it's getting 800+ downloads, give it a shot.. Hope you understand. Thanks for your effort in keeping the forum clean.
there should be a sub-sub-forum for each new skin created. so the first post can be updated with well.. updates and users can comment normally with feedback.

Why reply to a topic when you can have your own sub-forum after all, eh? I'd also like to say that there are wayy too many pinned topics.. it basically takes over the first page.

Just FYI, there's no possibility for creating an internal forum, i.e. "sub-sub-forum"... 
Option A, much easier to find that way
The whole idea is having the first page filled with all the juicy things a user may need; this poll is only temporarily pinned, while it's open.I'd also like to say that there are wayy too many pinned topics.. it basically takes over the first page.
I would like to let the skin-creators decide for themself.
If they post it in the repository, they are more easy to find, but if they want to post in their own thread, it's their decision and fine, too.
Don't try to restrict too much things. Leave room for different choices, that's all what creativity and innovations come from. Let it open and see how it develops....
Panta, why can't I vote for "Leave it, like it is (skin-designers decide themself)"? This poll is incomplete! (Just like in politics: there is never the option I'm looking for, on the ballot-paper :mad:)
PS: About the many Stickies: Is it possible to move the "Sublementary Rules" to the Announcements at the top? This would be one sticky less.
This Poll don't need to be sticked, i think, too. I'm sure the people will find it. Stickies only for posts, that are meant for eternity, imho And one sticky less, again.
Not sure, if Skin-Maker and Profile Manager need there own stickies, too. They are useful tools, but perhaps can be somehow combined in a single thread? And another sticky went the way of the Dodo...
The other stickies are fine, important, and should be kept.
I'd go with the sub-forum idea.
I think it's not needed, because I decided to make new format of skin, which will be given us not to use all options or all images in skin file. I mean, you will be able to use options or *.png in skin which you want. So it will be last time when somebody recreate all skins

1. Option 2 is what you want (somehow): it's there, explained inside a 100 char. max. restriction, and even better explained at the first post. Just both options at the same time won't remain valid for long...

@Bayakkun: not an option, already stated as impossible in a sub-forum...
since a sub forum is apparently impossible, why not have one single thread. with one single post. the skin makers can give their updated files or whatever to the mod who can then manage that single post. lock the thread or something so nobody will post and clutter it up, or let them but keep the first post updated with all the skins.
that might be a little too much trouble to constantly update a single post with different skins though. but i say worth a shot.

This may seem incoherent, but it depends on the viewpoint. I really would prefer one of these options:
1. Only one, centralized, sticky release-only thread where you can find all published skins. Anyone can leave comments in the same thread. Posters of new skins should put some identificative image at the very beginning to differentiate releases' posts from comments' posts. Everyone else should remove such image when quoting such a post.
2. Many scattered, non-sticky, open for commenting threads; one skin per thread; being all these threads under a subforum of "XWindows Dock", named "XWindows Dock Skins".
I really think that there are too many threads scattered about the site, which will make it hard to find some.
