I don't exactly second KAWS opinion, but Pidgin + Leopard XP visual style looks more iChat to me than a skinned Miranda

Yea it does. I'm surprised it's not popular as I've never even heard about it before. It's like pidgin but with support of skins, and has more features.
Man I've been using Digsby these last days, and I can't imagine how did I live without it.
Up to now it is as clean and light as Pidgin, and as stable as Adium.
I'm pretty happy with this app.
Wow I just tried it and got done customizing it.
This is an EXCELLENT app, it far outstrips Miranda.
If they can implement a feature where you can assign your own avatars to your friends, then I'll have no complaints.
I am using Digsby now also and I am loving although I wish it did not eat so much of my memory 66mb
i've read that the best equivalent to ichat is trillian with a leopard skin.
