Aqua-Soft ForumsI have icon tweaker and changed all my icons however in some programs i guess the orignal system icons still show (the shell icons i guess?) i wan to change it so it always looks like leopard icons can anyone tell me how? Thanks.

You must either resource-hack shell32.dll by yourself, or ask the software developers of each program to implement support for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShell Icons.
It is really ironic I'm telling this to you, because Stacks Docklet doesn't support the Shell icons stuff I mention above. :blush:
Yeah, you could also use Replacer and find a good shell32.dll.
Or maybe post a new thread in Application Requests, for some app which will intercept Windows and return customized icons? So they would work in any app.

Just thought I'd ask if you could implement support for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerShell Icons in your stacks docklet. 
On a more serious note, I was curious about this since there have been more and more support requests appearing lately for the standalone-stacks docklet version of your stacks release. I know the wrapper is by Chrisoft, however, I was always concerned about updated releases of your docklet not being updated in the standalone version. (stack versions out of sync.) In releasing a stack's wrappter, I would suspect you would be the best person to implement a standalone version since you are most intimate and familiar with the stack code. You could do a portable version that improves upon launch times and animation start time from click. And this could possibly even be the beginning of that quickview in explorer functionality you ever so often hint at. At least it could be reusable code in your different projects ^^ My apologies, I know you've lots on your plate so just consider this some light hearted inner-thoughts posted in a forum setting, but just using a more serious type font.

I'll bring my notebook to my vacations (January 3 to 10, Miramar, Buenos Aires, it has a beach, lots of sand and sea, and I expect to be completely unable to use the notebook (forget about any wireless access to broadband connections)) but who knows
BTW, not sure if I should say vacations or holidays? I was teached in english courses to use "holidays", but I read "vacations" a lot everywhere, plus the word in spanish is "vacaciones".
I think "Vacation" is the American word, but "Holiday" is what we say over in England. You'd get laughed at if you said Vacation over here, but I think they're basically interchangeable elsewhere.
they both are acceptable to use.. you're on holiday, or vacation. Holiday might imply participating in a group established day off. (Holiday may have come from Holy-day aka, a 'religious' date of observance.) but Vacation is probably considered more accurate to describe date(s) you have off personally.
