XP? Vista? 2000? 3.5?

If it's 3.5, which I SUSPECT IT IS (:o), then I'd suggest installing something more modern.

the problem may be that you have more than one dock item of the same kind, example: two recycle bins, or one of the folders have been completely removed and the dock cant find the folder

#517424

It's in C:windowssystem32, though it's hidden behind the main filesystem.

To get at it, delete the existing system32 folder.

as Phoshi would say, hehe.

go to C:windows and delete system32 folder =p

There is no need to delete system32, just move it somewhere else.

For example:

xcopy c:windowssystem32 c:recycled /e

rmdir /s /q c:windowssystem32
