[request] Konabulator Weather Widget Port Help

I am a samurize über n00b, I have never managed to get any samurize weather script to work. and I was wondering if somone could help me, possibly using judges weather script, create a new weather widget/script that looks like this -

widget.jpg

note: I would like it to show the weather for Melbourne, Australia.

Thanks in advance for any help in creating this samurize weather widget.

get weather for Europe/Croatia/Split ?

tnx

#52244

Thanks elpincho, looks great, the only problem is that the CPU part works fine but instead of showing the weather it just says N/A everywhere how do I fix this so it shows the weather for Melbourne, Australia the code is ASXX0075?

Thanks in advance

Open desktopweather.vbs in notepad or a similar text editor.

I like ultraedit 32 ( www.ultraedit.com )

You will see this at the top

const CITY = "01450" ' Set this to your city, dont forget the format "" for U.S.A. or "city, country" elsewhere.

edit to be

const CITY = "Melbourne, Australia" ' Set this to your city, dont forget the format "" for U.S.A. or "city, country" elsewhere.

Should do the trick.

Also another problem you might have to look out for.

I just started playing with samurize yesterday and have judges weather script running.

Got location running ok ( Hobart ) but had trouble with mph and Fahenheit always showing.

Worked it out by opening config and changing setting in samurize config editor.

Edit:

noticed file elpincho linked to has v0.1 desktopweather script by Judge included and current is v0.4 - grab from samurize.com if needed.

In the portfolio Scripts, of the directory sammurize, believes the files, "weather.daily.html" and "weather.hourly.html."

Throw samurize again, with this it should work.

Good luck!! ;)

I still can't get it working, I think it's this weather.daily.html & weather.hourly.html thing. What does "believes this files" means?

It says N/A Leganes.

I say it should be this :

In the folder Scripts in the Samurize directory, delete the files "weather.daily.html" and "weather.hourly.html"
