How do you use the SysTray icons? Is it possible to alter the SysTray icons in Windows?

I used a program called ps tray factory

Is there a freeware or opensource app that does the same or similar, as PS Tray Factory?

I used a program called ps tray factory

What does it do exactly and is it compatible with WinVista SP1? please give me an explanation or an URL to it.

here you go mvosx1094: ps tray factory

http://www.download.com/PS-Tray-Factory/30...cdlPid=10604398

PS Tray Factory is a powerful and handy tool meant to flexibly control all the other icons in the system tray of the taskbar. PS Tray Factory will help you to manage all the applications that place their icons in the taskbar tray.

So does anyone know of a recommendable freeware alternative?

Yeah something free or a keygen would be very nice!

To Firecraker6,

is there a keygen for PStray factory? It looks great I just don't want to pay for an Application that might not even work my Vista SP1 Notebook.

I'm using IcoFX.

http://icofx.ro/

Once installed go to: Tools/Resource Editor/Open.

Look for the icon of the software you want to change then click on Change/Save.

All this needs to be done with the software inactive of course.

That is it!!

thanks for the suggetion Lollo00, I've downloaded that app before but didn't know it had that functionality~ although not as automated as I'd like, but it's a good start :)

@mvosx1094, sorry, that's not how I roll ;)

So you don't have a keygen for PS tray? Plus I tried IconFx and it's not as great as RealWorld IconEditor 2008. Get it at http://realworld.com . Plus Ps tray has the ability to change plus move the location of the icons.
