OS X's effects (compiz)

So I'm fiddling around with Ubuntu 8.10, decided I may as well try and make it look leopardesque.

All's going well and good until I realise, I don't actually know what sort of visual effects OS X actually has.

So, anybody wish to enlighten me?

(Also, are there any docks out there that minimise windows "properly", IE, OS X-y)

Some of the common ones are of course the genie effect, and, if you notice, the fluid inside scrollbars in OSX tend to.... move... when scrolling. I don't know how else to define that. I can't seem to remember if windows/menus fade in or out.

Can you re-construct Leopard's menubar in Ubuntu?

Yeah, you can with Global Menu. Not the most friendliest thing I've seen though. Also, I'm pretty sure you can make the 'fluid' in the scrolls move, at least I think I've seen something similar being done.

Also, try Cairo Dock or Avant Window Navigator for docks, I'm pretty sure they have some fancy effects there. Kiba Dock should be pretty good as well.
