Mac OS X animation formulas

Hi, in this thread I'll investigate, reverse engineer and publish formulae to perform similar visual effects to those found in Mac OS X.

I'm doing this because finally I've got my hands on a Mac OS X machine, though it is not mine, it's the enterprise whom I work for who owns it and lets me use it to port our software and libraries.

By now and to start with, I made some slow motion screencaps of:

• Open and close Fan stack.
  
• Open and close Grid stack.
  
• Minimize/unminimize window with Gennie effect.
  

I'd love to reproduce the Dashboard effect (the ripples below the widget when it's added) but can't make Snapz Pro capture it. Also tried ScreenFlow but it crashes on startup.

Have you already realized what shift-clicking the minimize button and dock icons do? It'll allow you to study in greater detail
