Open file by dragging on the dock

Bonjour,

when i try to open a file by draging it on a application on the dock, as a video on wmp ou kmplayer, the file can't be open. But if i lauch the application by the dock and drag the file on the application, the file is open right. It seems that the files is interpreted by the name "documents" and not by the name of the file and it cant' be open

Have you a solution ?

And one more thing, when i minimize application in the dock and try to close it, in the dock by a right click, the apllication is close but it's stil stay in the dock as minimized.

it's lighter for me on netbook, but i got the same probleme on a xp sp3 too

I don't think sp3 is much heavier, and tbh xp is shite without at lesat sp2.

so if i understand it's ok for you to :

- you can open every files (excel, movies, text...) by drag on the specific application in the dock

- when you close minimize application in the dock by right click, the application doesn't still present in the dock and you don't have to click on it to get the icon to disapear

the rk do that i want for the esential but if il could resolve that problems it could be great but it's not so important just to know if other people have have observ the same problem

RK does that here, but I use Objectdock anyway.

Give it a try, it might work better for you
