Aqua-Soft Forumsi installed FAK awhile ago and i liked it but i found that it took up to much cpu performance for my liking, so i uninstalled. it all went ok but now a lot of the icons are still there and many of the windows popups are apple style. for instance when i click turn off my computer, the pop up asking if i want to standby, restart or shut down is still apple style. this is really annoying and i was wondering if there was any way to fix this? my display properties are apple like too. i used the tweak ui to rebuild my icon cache but it didnt help. i was wondering if reinstalling flyakite and then uninstalling again might help. thanks for any help guys.
problems uninstalling
1. Visual Style: When you install FlyaKite, you can also choose to install a "Tiger" visual style, which you probably have done... After uninstalling FAK, you'll still have the "Tiger" visual style as default. Simply rightclick on your desktop, choose properties & the "Appearance" tab. Switch Visual Style back to the really sexy XP style...
2. Icons: Are you running XP SP3? If not, visit windowsupdate & install it (i.e. SP3). This will give you all the really cool XP icons again... If you're already on SP3, try installing it again...
