Buffer Overrun

Hi, Im having trouble with my beloved MP3 Player. Every time that I run the PHILIPS (My bloody MP3) Device Manager, saying the following:

Microsoft Visual C++ Run Library: Buffer Overrun Detected! Program: ...hilips/SA23xx Device Manager/Device Manager.exe A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

Help please Thanks.

Additional Info: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 with .Net Framework 3.0

Post Data: I've reinstalled the device manager, updated it. When the MP3 player is NOT connected with the PC, it works fine (which is quite useless, 'cause is intended to work with the player), but when I connect the MP3, the error window appears.
