One of my friend have iPod and from last few days he is facing problem for charging the iPod. Now I assume that there is some problem in the battery. So any one who can help to sort out ths isuue.
How to change iPod Battery
first leave it so the battery is empty, then try charging it with the wall charger
Crack dat ***** open and replace it.
Or leave it on for like a week without the hold button and don't touch it so it completely drains its battery. Then, connect it to a wall charger for like an hour or so and boot into disk mode and connect it to the computer.
Are you sure that these tricks will help because I am also facing same kind of problem. Although my portable player is of Transcend not of Apple.
Can I try this with my one also. Please suggest

Send into apple and have them look at it so you don't void your warranty don't just crack it open
Mate do not try to take the risk you should go to apple service station and let them do it by themselves. Few of my electric appliances ruin by me because of this experiment.
So I would suggest you to go to their registered service station.
depends on what generation of ipod it is.
the earlier models are easy to replace the battery... new ones.... best off get it done under warranty, or pay the expense and get it fixed/replaced at ur apple store- take it to the geniuses.
Hello friend
I think you are facing same problem as i did, you must search online for that, you can business t1 servicewebsite, they have information about battery and many more....
There is a valid way on how to do it, but you'll void your warranty by doing it. The best way would be to send it back to Apple and they'll do it for you, keeping your warranty.
If you have a valid grantee for the product go to the service center they would help.
