Changing the icons

Hello,

I want to change the icons in the threads and I've heard that all I should do is just create a folder with my customized icons. So what I did after creating a folder is rename it to "statusicon" which is the name of the original folder and moved the original one. But my customized images didn't appear.

Does anyone knows how I'm supposed to do this?

Suggestions and comments will be very much appreaciated.

If these are the images you want to change, then you simply replace them (keep the same file names).
