Add Multi Shadows?

how would u make windowfx add shadows to more than one window? it only adds a shadow to the active window?

It adds shadows to all windows, but the active window's shadow is a darker color to off-set it from the other windows.

Make your desktop background totally white and then put an in-active window over top of it and you'll see what I mean.

you may want to switch which shadow style your using... your wall might make it harder to see lighter ones.

I have a similar question though... does anyone know how to apply winfx shadows to the objectbar... ie.in the new nexgen ice theme the objectbar doesn't come up shadowed for me. Do i have to go through skinstudio to change this? Please help as this prob. effects me on alot of themes. :6

I don't use objectbar anymore, but I'm willing to bet that somewhere in the theme configuration settings there's an option for 'enable winfx shadow in this theme' or something like that... maybe I'll poke around.

not sure if this is it, but try this: right click the objectbar tray icon, click "Configure Theme..." then in the window that pops up, click "File" and "General Options". Then the "Troubleshooting Options" tab, and make sure "Disable all shadow effects..blah blah" is unchecked.

Found another option that might be interesting. Rightclick objectbar tray icon agian, then click "Configure Theme..."

Now, in the pane on the left, click the bar that's not getting a shadow, so that it's higlighted. Then, on the right, click the "Advanced" tab. There should be a "Misc Options" area in the centre of that, with a check box for "Prevent WindowsFX from applying shadows to this bar". Obviously you want that UNchecked.

I have a feeling that this is probably your solution.
